Pittsburgh Babywearers
Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Pittsburgh Babywearers is a group dedicated to helping parents and caregivers learn to use baby carriers in the safest and most comfortable way. They exist to educate parents and caregivers about their options with regards to baby carriers, to extol the benefits of babywearing, and to provide a place for parents and caregivers to meet and discuss babywearing and learn from each other.

The Market Cooks! No Menu Monday at Bar Marco
Monday, July 21st, 5 to 11 p.m.

Join Market merchants and some special guests for  a one-of-a-kind No Menu Monday featuring the best of the Public Market! See what our vendors (including Ohio City Pasta, Clarion River Organics, Eliza’s Oven) can do with a REAL kitchen. Proceeds will benefit The Market Kitchen.


Ongoing events:

Food Truck Roundups!
Every Wednesday, from 11:00 to 3:00, we will be rounding up the local Food Trucks!  The trucks will be parked on our parking pad at 25th and Penn Avenue.  This Wednesday, June 18th, will feature Pittsburgh Taco Truck, Pittsburgh CrepesSouthside Barbecue Company, and The Steer and Wheel.  Be on the lookout for weekly prizes and giveaways!  There will also be seating available inside the Market, be sure to visit your favorite vendors while you are here. Stay tuned for next week’s trucks!

Summer Sampling Series

Join us at the Market this Summer every Saturday  (and a few Sundays) from 12-2 as we feature local chefs, farmers, and food writers sharing their favorite recipes made from local produce. Taste what the chefs are cooking up, get the recipe card, and buy the ingredients right here in the Market.

Animals Against the Odds Rehab & Rescue
The first weekend (Saturday & Sunday) of each month, this volunteer based group will bring foster dogs and cats (and puppies and kittens!) to the Market that are looking to be adopted. Come down and find your new best friend!
